14 PREFERENCES

The Preferences tool is the window where you can configure the various

features in NMS.

To access Preferences tool, select Tools > Preferences.

ECVIEW PLATFORM PREFERENCES

The available preferences for ECView Pro Platform are as follows:

◆ Access Rights

◆ Dashboard

◆ Database Backup Scheduler

◆ Event Viewer

◆ License Info

◆ Notification

ACCESS RIGHTS This allows the Administrators to add access rights on selected ECView Pro

Platform features to other user roles.

To access the Preferences - Access Rights option, perform the following

steps:

1. From the left panel, select ECView > Access Rights. You will see the

Access Rights screen on the right panel of the Preferences dialog box.

2. In the Set the access rights for each role, select Operator or Viewer.

3. Select Allow to modify access rights if you want to modify the access

right privileges for each user role.

4. Select All Tools if you want to grant privilege rights for all the tools

listed in the panel.

5. Select All Actions if you want to grant privilege rights for all actions.

6. Click Apply and then OK.
