core\ECView Platform\tftp_root.”
4. Select a folder and click “Save.” The file is saved and stored in the
selected location.
Once you have stored the firmware or configuration file, you can upload it
to specific devices as required.
ADD FIRMWARE You can add a new firmware version and also add firmware from specific
devices on the network to ECView Configuration Manager. Thereafter, you
can deploy these firmware files to devices that need a firmware upgrade.
To add firmware, perform the following steps:
1. From the Configuration File Navigator panel, select Firmware, right click
and select “Add Firmware.” You will see the Firmware dialog box.
2. In the “Firmware Name” field, enter the name of the firmware that you
want to upload.
3. In the “Vendor Name” field, enter the name of the vendor of the
firmware you want to upload.
4. In the “Version” field, enter the version number of the firmware.
5. In the “Details” field, enter details about the firmware.
6. In the “Add Firmware” file section, use the browse button to select a
firmware file.
7. Click OK. The firmware will be added in the left panel. You can then
upload this firmware to those devices that need a firmware upgrade.
UPLOAD FIRMWARE Once firmware has been downloaded or added to ECView Pro Configuration
Manager, you can upload the firmware and deploy it to devices that have
been added to ECView Configuration Manager.
To upload firmware, perform the following steps:
1. From the Configuration File Navigator panel in the left panel, select the
firmware to be deployed.
2. Right click and select “Upload.” You will see the Devices Viewer dialog
box.
3. In the “Search by IP Address” field enter the IP address of the device.
