PRELIMINARY

To create a category to group devices, perform the following steps:

1. From the Configuration File Navigator panel, right-click and select “Add

Category.” You will see the New Category dialog box.

2. Under the section “Select parent folder,” select “Devices.”

3. Enter a name in the “Category Name” field and click Finish.

The new category added will appear in the Configuration File Navigator

panel on the left side under the option Devices.

ADD A NEW DEVICE A network can have multiple devices, including but not limited to switches

and routers. You can add the devices that you want to configure and

manage to the ECView Pro Configuration Manager.

To add a device for configuration, perform the following steps:

1. From the Configuration File Navigator panel, right-click and select “Add

Device.” You will see the Devices List Viewer dialog box.
