WORKING WITH

REPORT LAYOUTS

The main Report Designer panel includes a properties section where

element configuration can performed in detail. When you click on an area

in the design layout, the Property Editor panel displays all the parameters

that can be modified.

When changes have been made to a report design, click on “Preview” tab

to display the generated report.

Report Layouts include the following features:

◆ Text Editing — Includes a set of common text controls, such as font

type and size, text color, justification, as well as paragraph style

definitions.

◆ Master Page — A background page that defines commom elements

that display on all pages in a report. This can include background

graphics, headers and footers, margin settings, and page orientation.

◆ Table Properties — Includes border styles, backround color, cell

margins and alignment.

◆ Hyperlinks — Enables text to be defined as a hyperlink to bookmark

locations in the report, or to other files.

◆ Table of Contents — Enables a table of contents to be built from

headings in the report.
