OTE

You can view right-click options for all devices. Edge-Core, SMC, and

other vendor devices may have access to the “Launch Telnet” and “Launch

Webagent” right-click options.

Right-Click Action Icon Description

Show Events Opens a separate tab in the Event Viewer tool and

shows you the list of all the events related to the

selected node.

Refresh Node(s) This action fetches the latest basic information from on

line switch directly and updates the ECView Pro

Database and platform components. Refresh Map will

retrieve the discovered devices from the database and

arrange the layout of the map view to its default layout

or to your preferred layout.

Lock Device(s) This action will keep the selected node(s) on the

assigned location in the map.

Manage Device This action automatically adds the concerned device in

Configuration Manager and opens the basic view of the

device directly in CM from Mapping topology so that

user can manage the device directly. This is important

especially during troubleshooting of big deployments.

Launch Telnet This action will launch the remote shell connection (that

is, Telnet or SSH) of the device. This right-click action

may not be available on some devices.

Launch Web Agent This action will launch the web agent of a device. This

right-click action may not be available on some devices.

Sort Nodes Arrange the list of nodes by name in ascending order.

This right-click action is applied in the Nodes view.
