PRELIMINARY

SEND MAIL PARAMETERS

NMS allows you to schedule and send email notifications whenever a

specified event has occurred. Email notifications are an effective way to

immediately get informed and view the details of an event that has

occurred in your network.

When you select the Send Mail option, you can choose to send a simple or

detailed email notification.

◆ Choose “Event Description” to send email notifications, or enter your

own event subject.

◆ NMS provides you with mail parameters that you can use to send a

detailed mail notification. Choose “Subject” to send a detailed e-mail

notification.
