PRELIMINARY
COMPARE WITH
BASELINE
ECView Pro Configuration Manager allows you to compare two
Configuration files. You can compare a selected configuration file with a file
that has been marked as a baseline file. Comparison of a configuration file
with a baseline file can be carried out in two ways:
◆ From the Configuration File Navigator Panel
◆ From the Show History section
From the Configuration File Navigator panel:
1. From the Configuration File Navigator panel, select the “Running” or
“Startup” option under the device you have selected.
2. Right-click and select “Compare with Baseline.” You will see the
Compare dialog box.

3. In the Type of Comparison section:

Select “Latest Files” if you want to compare two of the latest
Configuration file revisions.

Select “Revision” to compare with the revision that has been
downloaded and marked as a baseline.

In the “Select Revision Numbers to be compared” section, select the
check box against the required revision numbers to be compared in
the left and right panel respectively.

OTE
:
This panel displays the revision number and date of the
configuration files that have been downloaded for the particular device. If
there are no changes, a message will be displayed stating that there are no
differences between the selected inputs.
4. Click OK. The comparison of the two files will be displayed in the right
panel in the Configuration Compare tab.
