6 MAPPING

The main feature of the Mapping tool is to provide a visual representation

of the network topology in minutes. Using ECView Pro’s excellent discovery

engine, it continuously and accurately gathers real-time information and

status of each discovered device. Other Mapping features include a variety

of useful actions that facilitate in managing these discovered devices.

The mapping feature has pre-programmed map layouts to represent

different diagrams of the network topology.

The settings and the look and feel of the mapping feature can be modified

through the Preferences option.
