PRELIMINARY
DELETE A WMI CREDENTIAL PROFILE
To delete a WMI Credential profile, perform the following steps:
1. From the Preferences - WMI Credential, select the WMI Credential
profile to be deleted from the WMI Profiles section and click the Delete
button.
VALIDATE A WMI CREDENTIAL PROFILE
To validate a WMI Credential profile, perform the following steps:
1. From the Preferences - WMI Credential, select the WMI Profile you want
to validate.
2. Click the Validate button. You will see the Validate WMI Profile dialog
box.
3. Click OK. The dialog box will display the “Profile is valid” message if
validation is successful.

You can set preferences and schedule the download of configuration files
for devices added in NMS.

:
At the scheduled time the configuration file is downloaded and
compared with the previous revision. If there is a change, the file is
downloaded, otherwise, an event is recorded in the Event Viewer stating
that there is no change and hence the file is not downloaded.
To set preferences and schedule the download of configuration files,
perform the following steps:
1. From the left panel of the Preferences dialog box, select ECView Pro >
Configuration Manager > Scheduler. You will see the Scheduler
screen on the right panel of the Preferences dialog box.
2. From the Frequency section, choose one of the following options:
■
Daily — Select this option if you want to schedule download of
configuration files everyday.
■
Weekly — Select this option if you want to schedule download of
configuration files every week.
■
Monthly — Select this option if you want to schedule download of
Configuration files every month.
